Director Nitesh Tiwari is working to bring the grandeur, emotions and timeless characters of the epic Ramayana to the big screen as a sweeping visual spectacle. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Rocking Star Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana. The film will be released in India in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
Namith Malhotra’s ‘Prime Focus Studios’, eight-time Oscar-winning ‘DNEG’, and Yash’s ‘Monster Mind Creations’ are jointly producing this big-budget film. The visual epic, which is being made in two parts, will be released worldwide in IMAX format, with ‘Part 1’ scheduled to release globally during Diwali 2026 and ‘Part 2’ during Diwali 2027.
