After the release of Kantara: Chapter 1, actor-director Rishab Shetty had not interacted with the media as he was occupied with the film’s production and release. Now, with the film released and his next project underway, he spoke to the media, sharing his thoughts on the success of Kantara, his upcoming films and his future plans.
Speaking about the success of the Kantara films, Rishab said the film gave him “a new life” and taught him several lessons. According to him, the success of the film showed him the importance of staying grounded and continuing to learn. He said success is not the end of the journey and that every film is a continuous learning process. He added that discussions around Kantara continue until its release, after which the focus shifts to what comes next, prompting him to begin working on a new project.
On his upcoming films, Rishab said Jai Hanuman will begin first, followed by Shivaji. He said he prefers working on one film at a time, as handling two projects simultaneously is difficult due to the different looks and requirements of each film. Alongside shooting, he is also continuing writing work and has been working with his team of writers in Hyderabad.
