“Rajanivasa,” produced by D.P. Anjanappa under Canopus Cinemas Production and Tamburi Films, with Lokesh Gowda as co-producer, will hit theatres on November 6. The release date was announced by Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) state president T.A. Narayana Gowda.
Directed by Mithun Suvarna, the film stars Raghav Nayak and Kruthika Ravindra in lead roles, with Srinagara Kitty in a special appearance the film will release in four South Indian languages, including Kannada.
Mithun Suvarna expressed confidence in the film’s content and said audiences will support good films despite the current concerns about theatre footfalls. He believes positive word-of-mouth will help “Rajanivasa” succeed.
Narayana Gowda praised producer Anjanappa’s 35 years of pro-Kannada activism and his commitment to cinema, adding that KRV and its lakhs of activists would support the film. Actress Ashwini Gowda also extended her support and appreciated the director’s confidence.
The film’s songs and trailer are available on the A2 Music YouTube channel. The team expressed confidence that “Rajanivasa” will win appreciation not only in Karnataka but across India.
