What does the word “Paradox” mean? According to the dictionary, it refers to something that appears absurd or self-contradictory. In Kannada, it is known as “Virodhabhaasa.”

Interestingly, “Paradox” is the title of an upcoming Pan-India film that marks the directorial debut of renowned choreographer Captain Kishore. The film will feature Hansika Motwani and Sonu Sood in key roles.

The film was recently launched with a grand muhurat ceremony at Sri Venkateshwara Temple in Muddinapalya, Bengaluru.

Speaking on the occasion, director Captain Kishore said:

“Paradox is a Pan-India film. The story revolves around organ trafficking and has a strong women-centric theme. It is a suspense thriller with a screenplay styled along the lines of an English film. I entered the film industry with the dream of becoming a director, but because of my uncle, I became a choreographer. After working with several directors, I am now fulfilling my dream by directing Paradox. Producer Karthik Reddy loved the story and readily agreed to produce it. One film is already under production under his banner, and this is the second. Sonu Sood, Hansika Motwani, Ravi Shankar, and several actors from different languages will be part of this project.”

Producer Karthik Reddy, who comes from the IT and real estate sectors, expressed confidence about the film.

“Today, both making and marketing are equally important. We are leaving no stone unturned to achieve technical excellence and bring together talented artists for Paradox. This is not an ordinary film. It has a story that will connect with audiences across languages and offer them a completely new cinematic experience. Technically, the film will be of a very high standard.

Our first production, the English film Shadow, is in the final stages of completion, and Paradox is our second venture. We are making it on the lines of a Hollywood film and executing it with the same vision. The film is being mounted on a grand scale without compromising on quality. We are committed to delivering the kind of entertainment audiences truly deserve. It can also be described as a fantasy thriller. Sixteen principal actors from different languages will be part of this ambitious project.”

Several choreographers, including Murali Master, Ganesh Master, and Ramu Master, attended the muhurat ceremony to extend their best wishes to Captain Kishore on his directorial debut.

Sairam is serving as the Creative Head for the project, while Ravi Varma is handling the action choreography, Raju is the cinematographer, and Deepak is the editor.

Renowned action director Ravi Varma said:

“Captain Kishore has come up with an excellent story. The film features five grand action sequences, and each of them will be mounted on a lavish scale.”

Overall, Paradox promises to be an ambitious Pan-India suspense thriller with a socially relevant subject, high technical standards, and a star-studded multilingual cast.
