The muhurta ceremony of the Kannada film Pallar, presented by KVN Productions, was held today. The film stars Gilli as the lead actor. The ceremony took place at Sri Bande Mahakali Temple, where Crazy Star V. Ravichandran gave the inaugural clap, while producer Ramesh Reddy switched on the camera to mark the beginning of the film.
Pallar is presented by KVN and marks the debut production venture of KVN Productions’ executive producers Naveen and Harish. The film also marks Gilli’s debut as a lead actor. Director Chandramohan, known for comedy films, is directing the project. KVN Productions founder K. Venkata Narayana, along with KVN Business Head Supreeth, is supporting Harish and Naveen in the production.
Following the muhurta ceremony, the film’s team celebrated Gilli’s birthday and welcomed the new lead actor to the film industry. Speaking at the press meet, Gilli responded in his own style to several questions, including those related to the film’s heroine and remuneration. He said that more information about the film would be shared in phases in the coming days.
Director Chandramohan said Pallar will be a complete comedy entertainer with a rural backdrop and confirmed that shooting will commence from tomorrow.
