Paavana Gowda enters the romantic-cum-crime thriller ‘Dear Husband’. Actress Paavana Gowda, who has so far mostly impressed audiences with glamorous and traditional roles in the Kannada film industry, is now preparing to appear before the audience in a rugged role.
Yes, Paavana Gowda, who from the beginning of her career has mostly been seen and appreciated in roles portraying beautiful and soft-natured girls, will now be seen as a tough police officer from North Karnataka.
Interestingly, this is the first time the actress is appearing in such a role, and it is in the film ‘Dear Husband’.
Produced under the banner of ‘G9 Communication and Media’, ‘Dear Husband’ is directed by Gururaj Kulkarni (Nadagowda), and the behind-the-scenes work on the film is progressing rapidly.
The team has already successfully completed two schedules of shooting for ‘Dear Husband’ without much publicity and is now preparing for the third schedule. Amidst this, a new piece of news has emerged from the team, with actress Paavana Gowda officially joining the film ‘Dear Husband’.
According to information confirmed by both the film team and actress Paavana Gowda, she will be playing the role of a police officer in ‘Dear Husband’. Speaking about her character, Paavana Gowda said, “This is a role that is completely different from the roles I have done so far. My character shows how a responsible woman police officer is, what challenges she faces, and how she handles her work. This is definitely a challenging role for me. Along with tough dialogues, I also have action sequences in this character,” she introduced her role.
Speaking about Paavana’s character in ‘Dear Husband’, director Gururaj Kulkarni (Nadagowda) said, “This is a very important character. After a lot of searching, we finally selected Paavana for this role. She has also happily agreed to do the role. We have already completed a portion of the shooting of ‘Dear Husband’. Paavana Gowda will participate in the next schedule of shooting. This film could give her another image. To that extent, this is a female-centric role,” he explained.
The suspense-cum-crime thriller ‘Dear Husband’ features actors Suraj Gowda, Praveen, Kumar Bangarappa and others in prominent roles. Veer Samarth is composing the music for the songs. The film has lyrics by Pramod Maravante and dialogues by Raghu Niduvalli. PKH Das is handling the cinematography, while B. S. Kemparaj is handling the editing.
The team plans to shoot the film in Bengaluru, Mandya, Goa and other locations. Currently, the ‘Dear Husband’ team is working at a brisk pace and plans to bring the film before audiences by the end of this year.
