The teaser and songs of the Kannada film “Nanna Magale Super Star” were recently unveiled at an event. The film is produced by N.A. Shivakumar (Kumar Nonavinakere) under the Honey Films banner and directed by Ayur. It features Baby Rithu Singh, who gained recognition through the popular television serial Seetha Raama, in a prominent role. Actors Cheluvaraj, known for Bajarangi 2, and Sambhrama Shree play the lead roles in the film.
The teaser was unveiled by Jayamala, President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, M. G. Ramamurthy, President of the Kannada Film Producers Association, and Suresh Chikkanna of Siri Music. The songs were released by Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce Vice President Sundarraj, writer B. R. Lakshman Rao and environmentalist Revathi Kamath. The songs are available through Siri Music. Following the launch, the guests addressed the gathering before members of the film team spoke about the project.
Director Ayur said that although he is primarily an editor, “Nanna Magale Super Star” marks his directorial debut. He has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. According to him, the film explores the expectations parents often place on their children, particularly the desire for them to become successful and live according to their parents’ wishes. He stated that the story focuses on the difficulties children face when parental expectations are imposed on them without considering their own aspirations.
The director further said that the film features three songs, all written by B.R. Lakshman Rao, with music composed by Kevin.
Actor Cheluvaraj said that he had previously played the role of Duryodhana in the television serial Mahabharata around fifteen years ago, during which Kumar worked as his makeup artist. Known largely for portraying villainous roles, he said this film marks his transition to a lead role and features a character different from those he has portrayed before.
Actress Sambhrama Shree said that the film is one that both parents and children should watch. She plays the female lead and portrays the mother of Baby Rithu Singh’s character in the film.
Producer N.A. Shivakumar stated that “Nanna Magale Super Star” is the third production of Honey Film Makers. He thanked the guests for unveiling the teaser and songs and said the team is preparing to release the film next month. The shooting of the film has already been completed.
Music director Kevin spoke about the film’s songs, while lyricist B.R. Lakshman Rao said he had written all three songs and praised Kevin’s musical compositions. Cinematographers Raghavendra Reddy and Sachin, editor Raghav Arjun Doni and senior makeup artist Ramakrishna were also present at the event.
