The first song, “Modal Preethi,” from ‘Raashi’, starring Aditya Shashikumar and Sameeksha, has been released and is winning appreciation. The song is written and composed by director Vijay Palegar and sung by popular singer Armaan Malik. Choreographed by Bhushan Master, Aditya Shashikumar impresses with his dance moves, proving that he has inherited his father Shashikumar’s dancing talent.
Produced by Akhilesh M under Dhuvan Films and directed by Vijay Palegar, Raashi features six songs, with five in the film and one promotional track. Singers include Kunal Ganjawala, Vijay Yesudas, Anuradha Bhat, Sharan, Malavalli Mahadevaswamy and Ankit.
The film, which blends comedy, love and family emotions, has completed shooting and is gearing up for release. Akhilesh has penned the story, while the screenplay is by the director. Naveen Surya handles cinematography, K.M. Prakash editing and Mahesh Sathanuru the art direction.
Sameeksha plays the female lead opposite Aditya. The cast also includes Ramesh Indira, Tabla Nani, Veena Sundar, Manju Pavagada, Kari Subbu, Vinod Gobbaragala, Huli Karthik, Vardhan Theerthahalli, Ugram Ravi and Bhajarangi Prasanna.
