The national award winning actor for Jogwa in 2010, Marathi, Hindi cinema and Television actor Upendra Limaye after 30 years of successful career makes his debut in Kannada cinema.
Rishi, who has established himself as a lead actor through films with different storylines such as ‘Kavaludaari’, is currently gearing up for a new film in which he will be seen as the protagonist. The film will be directed by Kishore Bhargav, who has already directed a Kannada film titled Stalker and has honed his skills under renowned director Ram Gopal Varma. The casting process for the film is already progressing at a brisk pace. Interestingly, Marathi superstar Upendra Limaye will make his debut in the Kannada film industry through a unique role in this movie.
Upendra Limaye, who has earned a big name in the Marathi film industry, is also well-known as a multilingual actor. Having found success through films such as Animal and Peddi, Upendra Limaye is now set to take on Rishi as the antagonist. Meanwhile, the film is yet to be titled. Kishore Bhargav, who has spent decades honing his craft under Ram Gopal Varma, is preparing to present this film with a fresh storyline. This will be his third film as a director.
The film will be produced by Vasanth Hange under the Hanges Sai Visions banner. Srikanth G Kashyap will be associated with the project as the executive producer. Somasekhar will handle the dialogue, writing and editing. Ananth Bharadwaj will be the cinematographer, while Skanda Kashyap will compose the music.
The casting process is currently underway. Plans are in place to commence shooting in November. More details about this yet-to-be-titled film, which stars Rishi in the lead role, will be revealed soon.
