Kannada cinema’s Dream Queen Malashree and popular actress Rukmini Vasanth (the most happening heroine today) are set to share the screen in ‘Mangala Gowri’, a highly anticipated film that has been officially announced and is currently in production.
Directed by Rahul P.K., the film is jointly produced by KVN Productions, led by Venkat K. Narayan, and Dakshayani Talkies, founded by acclaimed writer-director Hemanth M. Rao in his mother’s name.
Known for its big-budget pan-India projects including ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’, ‘Jana Nayagan’, ‘Balan – The Boy’ and Chiranjeevi’s upcoming ‘Kaka’, KVN Productions joins hands with Dakshayani Talkies, known for content-driven films including ‘Ajnathavasi’, to support fresh talent and unique storytelling.
Malashree will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar, while Rukmini Vasanth will play an equally powerful role. The film marks Rukmini’s second collaboration with Hemanth M. Rao after ‘Sapta Sagaradaache Ello’ and with KVN Productions after ‘Toxic’.
Midhun Mukundan is composing the music, while Srivatsan Selvarajan, known for the ‘Tulasi’ music video, is handling cinematography. Action choreography is by Vikram More.
The film revolves around the thrilling journey of two strong female characters. Shooting is nearing completion, and the team is preparing for its theatrical release soon.
