Young Team of Love to Lassi Unveils Song and Motion Poster with Confidence

A young and talented team behind Love to Lassi confidently faced the media at the Utsav Legacy Auditorium in GT Mall during the launch of the film’s song and motion poster.

Produced by Bharathi Srinivas Raj under the RKB Films banner and directed by Hariprana, Love to Lassi promises to be a heartfelt love story rooted in real-life emotions.

Director Hariprana, who has worked on around 18 films, said the movie was shot in and around Puttur and Sullia. The film stars Jeevitha and Aryan in the lead roles, while Jagan, Tara, Vaishnavi, and several others play important supporting characters.

Releasing the song, Orata Shree said, “This is a new team. We too have reached where we are today by overcoming many challenges. A director’s first film is like writing the SSLC examination. I wish the director and the entire technical team all the very best.”

Sapthagiri Gowda shared his thoughts, saying, “This is my first experience attending such an event. The title Love to Lassi beautifully combines two sweet words—Love and Lassi. I watch films in many languages, and I feel this is a very appealing title. I wish more new talents enter the film industry.”

Speaking about the film, director Hariprana said, “This is a true love story between a Puttur girl and a Bengaluru boy. It is not a café love story but a real-life incident that took place during 2006–07. We obtained permission from the girl before making the film. It is a tragic love story.”

Hariprana added that writing stories and songs has always been his passion. Holding an MA in Journalism and an LLB degree, along with experience in marketing, he believes his promotional strategies have already secured over 70 percent of the film’s success even before its release.

“I know how to sell my biryani,” he remarked with confidence, referring to his ability to market the film effectively. He said he continues to work on innovative promotional strategies to attract audiences and emphasized that he shares a personal connection with the story.

Confident about the film’s universal appeal, Hariprana said, “This film is for everyone from the age of 9 to 90. We have worked extensively on portraying the inner thoughts and emotions—the mind voice—of both the hero and heroine.”

Music director Vinu Manassu revealed that the film features four songs. “The entire film has turned out very well. I request everyone to listen to the songs and enjoy them,” he said.

Lead actress Jeevitha said, “While shooting, I realized how beautiful the story was. After watching the songs, I feel the film has shaped up even better. We had earlier worked together on Ludo. This isn’t a film filled with excessive melodrama. It has everything a love story should have, along with family-oriented elements that audiences will relate to.”

Actor Aryan said, “I have also worked as a film reporter, so I was excited to learn that Love to Lassi is based on a real incident. I am happy to be part of this project. The story is truly impressive. For newcomers, however, finding producers is always a challenge. I am grateful that Bharathi madam believed in the project and produced the film.”

The film’s editing has been handled by M.A. Arjun Dhoni, while Vinu Manassu has composed the music.
