Actor M. N. Suresh, popularly known as Moog Suresh, has turned producer and director with the Kannada film “Kshameyirali Thande.” The film has completed shooting and is scheduled for release on June 12. The motion poster, trailer and lyrical video of the film were recently unveiled at an event.
Kannada film directors T. S. Nagabharana and Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, producer Umesh Banakar and makeup artist Ramakrishna attended the event as chief guests and released the motion poster, trailer and lyrical video. Following the launch, members of the film team addressed the media.
Speaking at the event, M.N. Suresh said he had earlier worked as a co-producer in a few films and that “Kshameyirali Thande” marks his first project as a full-fledged producer. He also said he had not initially planned to direct the film, but friends who were familiar with his working style encouraged him to take up direction. He stated that he invested his own savings into the project instead of using others’ money and added that his family supported him throughout the process.
According to Suresh, the film revolves around the bond between a father and son, as indicated by the title. The story has been written by Harish. The cast includes Manjunath Hegde, Renukabali, Srimantha and Vinyashetty, while M.N. Suresh has also acted in the film. The technical crew includes cinematographer Suryakanth, editor Muthuraj and music director Punyesh Kumar.
Actor Srimantha, story writer Harish, editor Muthuraj, actor Shivakumar Aradhya and executive producer Ahalya Suresh were also present at the press meet.
