Actor Pramod Shetty is celebrating his birthday. On this occasion, the team of ‘Kaustubha’ extended their wishes by releasing Shetty’s new police look.

Pramod Shetty, who has already acted in several supporting, negative and prominent roles, has a look in ‘Kaustubha’ that tells an entirely new story.
As this is a detective story, it is difficult to reveal any details. However, according to lead actor Pramod Shetty, both the police character and the climax of the film are different. Accordingly, he has made considerable changes to himself. Pramod, who has also displayed humour in his roles so far, plays a police officer named ‘Chanakya’ here. He is portraying a serious role suited to the weight of the character. He has also reduced his body weight. He has lost a whopping 27 kg from the physique he had developed for the role in ‘Laughing Buddha’.
There are four major fights in ‘Kaustubha’. Hence, it can confidently be said that this is the first commercial film in which Pramod Shetty is the lead.
This is director Siddu Vajrappa’s second film. Siddu Vajrappa, who attracted attention last year by directing the experimental film ‘Ravutha’, prepared a story with the intention of making his next film with Pramod Shetty in the lead and waited to get his approval. Speaking about the film, there will be a film within the film here. The film will primarily speak about the relationship between politics and the film industry. Around 60 percent of the shooting has already been completed. The plan is to take sufficient time, complete all preparations and release the film next year.
A special song has been prepared for the hero’s entry in ‘Kaustubha’. It is said that Real Star Upendra will sing another song. Doss Mod, who earlier composed music for ‘Vidyapati’, is the music director of this film.
There are three songs, one of which has been written by the director himself. Prashanth Bagur has penned another song.
The film has a large star cast, including veteran actor and director T.S. Nagabharana, Ravishankar Gowda, television actress Vidya, Kaddi Pudi Chandru and others. Nataraj, of ‘Rama Rama Re’ fame, will be seen in a special role. Aravind Raj handles the editing and Dileep M. Raj is in charge of the stunts.
