Jogi Prem lends his voice to a film by a young farmer from Mandya – Young farmer gifts a pair of calves to Jogi Prem.
The recording of a song dedicated to the Goddess for the film ‘Devi’, starring young farmer Chetan and Bhavya Gowda, took place at Loop Studio. Director Jogi Prem sang the song, which was recorded by music director Sridhar V. Sambhram.
Jogi Prem lent his voice to the lyrics penned by Patho Prajju, beginning with the lines, “Jogulava Haadi Neenu Kaithutthu Kottolu.” As Prem sang these words, they brought back memories of the song “Beduvanu Varavannu” from his film ‘Jogi’.
Young farmer Chetan from Mandya wished the team of ‘Devi’ good luck. Out of affection for the talented people from his hometown, Jogi Prem agreed to sing this song for the film. Interestingly, the film’s lead actor and producer, Chetan, gifted two calves to Jogi Prem.
The film is being produced under the banner of CR Productions. Young farmer Chetan Kumar has written the story and screenplay, besides acting in and producing the film. Prakash is directing the project.
The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace, and the team is now preparing to shoot the songs. If everything goes as planned, the team is gearing up to bring Devi before audiences for the New Year.
