The film “Hayagreeva,” starring Dhanveer in the lead role, is set for a statewide release on February 27. The film is produced by Smt. Padma Samruddhi Manjunath under the KVC Productions banner and directed by Raghukumar O.R. The trailer, which was released recently, has received positive responses. Members of the film team shared details about the project at a press conference आयोजित to provide further information.
Producer Samruddhi Manjunath stated that “Hayagreeva” is the third film from their production house. She said she is a cinema enthusiast and watches many films. After watching a short film directed by Raghukumar, she appreciated his work and invited him to narrate a story if he had one suitable for a feature film. He later narrated the story of “Hayagreeva.” She mentioned that Dhanveer was introduced to her through Darshan. She said that the performances of Dhanveer and the other actors, along with the work of the technicians, have come out well. Calling it a rare story in Kannada cinema, she added that the film will not disappoint audiences for the money they spend. She sought support for the film’s release on February 27.
Director Raghukumar thanked the producer for backing the project after appreciating the story. He said the film’s narrative is based primarily on Indian mythology and that such a storyline is rare in Kannada cinema. Sanjana Anand plays the female lead opposite Dhanveer. The cast also includes Sadhu Kokila, Sharath Lohithashwa, Shobhraj, Ashwini Gowda and Gilli Nata among others. The film has music composed by Judah Sandhy, cinematography by Girish R. Gowda and editing by K.M. Prakash. Dialogues are written by Shailesh Kumar and Chetan Siddu.
Dhanveer thanked producer Samruddhi Manjunath and also expressed gratitude to Vijayalakshmi Darshan, who recently released the film’s trailer. He said he liked the story narrated by director Raghukumar and that the film has been made as envisioned during the narration. He stated that his role has two shades — one as a police officer, while details about the other will be revealed in the film. He added that Sanjana Anand has performed well and that it was a good experience acting alongside senior artists. He sought continued support from the audience.
Sanjana Anand thanked the team and shared information about her role. Actors Ashwin Hassan and Asha Rani also spoke about their respective characters in the film.
