The highly expected film KD, made with a big star cast and a big budget, has created huge expectations in the Indian film industry. The trailer release event of this film, directed skillfully by Jogi Prem and starring Action Prince Dhruva Sarja, and produced by the renowned South Indian production house KVN Productions with a huge budget the trailer release event was held at Ashoka Hotel.
Veteran actor Dattanna launched the trailer of the film and conveyed best wishes. On this occasion, producer K. Venkat Narayan Konanki, director Prem, lead actor Dhruva Sarja, heroine Reeshma Nanaiah, Ramesh Aravind, music director Arjun Janya, cinematographer William David, choreographer Bhajarangi Mohan and others were present.
Speaking on this colorful stage, director Prem said that the film KD is releasing on the 30th of this month. “The reason for all this is KVN. We used to say the hero of the film is the music director or the director, but the real hero of this film is KVN. He has a lot of passion. For three years, he has fed thousands of people and taken care of all of us. He is truly a producer with a big heart. Lead actor Dhruva Sarja said that the film industry has completed 93 years because of the encouragement given by audiences from the beginning. “Similarly, please take two and a half hours of your time and come watch our film. It will definitely make you happy. KD is a good family entertainer, though there is some violence according to the situations in the film. Venkat sir has made this film believing in the audience and the story. Neither I nor Prem is the hero of this film; our producer is the real hero. Heroine Reeshma is a wonderful actor and has performed brilliantly. This is my first film with Arjun Janya, who has given excellent songs. This is a film that the whole family can sit and watch. I am happy that Dattanna launched the trailer. KD also has a fun journey and a different kind of journey,” he said.
Producer K. Venkat Narayan said that Prem has made a wonderful film. “Dhruva, Ramesh Aravind, Ravichandran and everyone have put in a lot of effort into this film. It is coming before you on the 30th. Please watch it,” he said.
Ramesh Aravind said that the film has become big due to everyone’s effort. “KD means Kalidas, but he writes poetry with blood. My name is Dharma. Here, each character has a contrasting nature,” he said. Heroine Reeshma Nanaiah, Arjun Janya, William David, Bhajarangi Mohan and the entire KD film team spoke about the special features of the film. By the way, the film is based on a gangster story inspired by real incidents that took place between 1970 and 1975.
Six choreographers have worked on the six colorful songs of the film. The cinematography of KD is handled by William David of Vikrant Rona fame. Apart from Crazy Star Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Sanjay Dutt, many Bollywood artists including Shilpa Shetty and Nora Fatehi have acted in this film.
Kichcha Sudeepa is also in an interesting role in KD.
