The film “Boss”, starring Tanuj Shivanna in the lead role and directed by Lava V, has been making a lot of noise ever since its launch. The film had also faced several hurdles. The appeal filed by Challenging Star Darshan and Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Darshan seeking to stay the release of the film was dismissed by the Karnataka High Court, thereby permitting the release of “Boss”.
Furthermore, Darshan also conveyed through his lawyer that “Boss” may be released. The film is releasing on August 7.
After the High Court permitted the release of our film, I tried to contact Vijayalakshmi Darshan. Her lawyer, Pratham, spoke to her and arranged for me to speak with her over the phone. I spoke to Vijayalakshmi Darshan. The first question she asked was whether there were any scenes in our film related to their family. I replied that there were none. She said that their lawyers would watch the film and inform them, and if there were any scenes related to their family, I would have to remove them. I agreed. Advocate Pratham watched the film and informed Vijayalakshmi Darshan and Darshan about it.
Darshan, who has always encouraged newcomers and understands the hardships involved in making a film, said there was no need to approach the Supreme Court and that they could go ahead and release the film. Vijayalakshmi also spoke to me over the phone and wished me well, asking me to release the film. At this moment, I would like to thank Darshan and Vijayalakshmi. Overcoming all the hurdles we faced so far, our film is releasing across the state on August 7. I request everyone to watch it and support us,” said the film’s lead actor and producer Tanuj Shivanna. If everything goes well we have plans for the sequel of the film stated actor and producer Tanuj Shivanna.
Director Lava also shared information regarding the film’s release. He thanked his superiors Subba Reddy and others for supporting him. At the same time he recalled the pains and pressures he received from a few people.
