It is a fun time from the new film Boys Never Compromise with the sub-caption ‘Agtha Illa… Beke Beku’. The teaser and song – the Boys Anthem song, as it is called, sung by the rap king of Karnataka, Chandan Shetty, sound like a very good invitation to the film.
Harish Jalagere, who had earlier produced the films Just Madveli and Rajannana Maga, has now stepped into direction. He himself has wielded the megaphone for the film Boys Never Compromise.
Kolar Seenu, who had directed Harish Jalagere’s previous two films, has joined hands in this new venture as well. The teaser and Boys Anthem release event of this horror-comedy film was recently held.
Notably, the film features mostly new faces, including Samrat, Nakshatra, Suprith Kati, Seetharam, Mandya Siddu, Rajeev Reddy, Umesh Kinnal, Gajendra, Hemanth Gowda, and Rajaraja Chola.
The film has been produced by Ujwala Nagaraj Jalagere under the banner of Marigold Studios.
Boys Never Compromise has music by Loki Tavasya, background score by M.S. Thyagaraj, cinematography by Pramod Bharatiya, and editing by Karthik Eshwarachari.
Speaking on the occasion, director Harish Jalagere said, “This is a horror-comedy genre film. It also carries a message. The concept of the film is about how a group of boys, while engaging in mischievous activities, get connected with a ghost. Along with comedy, the film also has a message. This is my first directorial venture. My friend Kolar Seenu has supported my effort. The film is ready for release, and now the teaser has been released. We are bringing the film to theatres on July 10. We auditioned nearly 150 people and selected more than twenty for this film. A few of the faces are popular from short films on YouTube channels,” he said.
“Within 15–20 days, we will release an item song, and in the first week of July, we are planning to have the trailer of Boys Never Compromise released by Kichcha Sudeep. Boys also have certain requirements. Some compromise on them, while some do not. We have humorously narrated what happens when they do not compromise, using a horror element. It is a film made collectively by everyone, and it has come out exactly as I had expected. We have already sent the film for censor certification,” he said.
Assistant director Kolar Seenu said, “I have worked on two films with Harish. Our friendship has remained strong for 20 years. The film has come out very well.”
Loki Tavasya said, “The director’s effort is the reason the songs have turned out so well. The making has been done in accordance with the music. A song sung by Anthony Daasan and Aishwarya Rangarajan will be released soon.”
Actor Rajeev Reddy has played the role of a police officer in the film. Actress Nakshatra, who had earlier been involved in modeling and played small roles, has played the lead role in this film.
Actors Samrat (who was seen in Puneeth Rajkumar’s James), Supreeth Karthi, Gajendra, Umesh Kinnal, Mandya Siddhu, Hemanth Gowda, Raja Raja Chola, Ganesh, Srikrishna Bhat, Inaam, and others have acted in this film and explained their roles briefly.
Chandan Shetty’s song “Enne Bitta Etalli, Ooru Bitwi Tigtalli… Inmunde Namde Roles…” is a catchy number from the film Boys Never Compromise.
