“Bangle Bangari” is a very popular song from Yuva Rajkumar-starrer Ekka. Now, the first line of that song has become the title of a new film. The upcoming film produced by Shankar Ram Reddy and directed by Maradihalli Chandra Nag has been titled “Bangle Bangari”. Recently, the muhurta ceremony of the film was held at the famous Balemuri Prasiddhi Sri Vinayaka Temple in Nandini Layout. E. Krishnappa, producer of Mungaru Male, showed the clapboard for the first scene. MLA Gopalaiah switched on the camera. Both dignitaries wished the film success, following which members of the film team spoke.
“On the auspicious day of Ananta Chaturdashi on Friday, our film ‘Bangle Bangari’ has been launched. It is a love story, along with crime. Sunil Shashidhar and Prakruthi Rajendra are playing the lead roles. Rangayana Raghu, Sharath Lohithashwa, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, Prakash Belawadi, Ravi Kale, Sampath Maitreya and others are part of the cast. Top Star Renu is the music director, Satish K is the cinematographer and Girish Kumar is the editor.
N. Vinayak, director of Full Meals, has written the dialogues for the film. The songs have been penned by K. Kalyan, Lokesh Krishna and Top Star Renu. Vijay Prakash, Kailash Kher, Jaskaran Singh and Anuradha Bhat will lend their voices to the songs. The first schedule of shooting will take place in Bengaluru. Preparations are underway to conduct the second schedule in Sakleshpur. I have written the story and screenplay myself, while Shankar Ram Reddy is producing the film,” said director Maradihalli Chandra Nag.
“This is my second film as a hero. I play an AI engineer in this film. I was selected through an audition. I have undergone the training required for acting and have come prepared,” said lead actor Sunil Shashidhar.
“My character’s name in this film is Kavya. I liked the character very much as soon as the director told me about it. I am basically a dancer, and I have an opportunity to dance in this film as well,” said heroine Prakruthi Rajendra.
Producer Shankar Ram Reddy said that he decided to produce the film after liking the story narrated by the director, and thanked the guests who attended the event as well as the members of the film team.
Music director Top Star Renu, cinematographer Satish, actor Sampath Maitreya and others were present at the press conference.
