The trailer launch event of ‘Amartha’, produced under the banner of Pancharangi Films by Dr. Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty and Guru Hegde, directed by Guru Hegde and Vinay Preetham, and starring Srinagar Kitty and Meghana Raj in the lead roles, was held recently in a grand manner.
Renowned entrepreneur Prakash Shetty and popular actor Darling Krishna released the trailer and conveyed their best wishes to the film team with words of encouragement. Actor cum director of national repute Shivadhwaj also attended the event as a guest.
Producer Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty, directors Guru Hegde and Vinay Preetham, lead actor Srinagar Kitty, lead actress Meghana Raj, artistes Usha Bhandari, Ashwa, Anuradha Bhat, music director Pancham Jeeva, background music composer Sridhar V. Sambhram and distributor Ramesh Babu, among others, were present at the event.
“My friends Prakash Shetty and Darling Krishna have released the trailer of our film. I thank them and the entire film team. A good film that can be watched with the family is coming before you on September 18. I request everyone to watch it in theatres,” said producer Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty.
“I have been associated with the film industry for the past 25 years. This is my first film as a producer as well as a director. Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty’s support for the production has been immense. We have made a good film. We are releasing it on September 18. More people should watch our film. Tell more people to watch our movie. If people say that the film is good through word of mouth and tell others to watch it, then we have won. With all your support, make the film ‘Amartha’ successful,” said producer and director Guru Hegde.
Thanking the guests who attended the event, lead actor Srinagar Kitty said, “‘Amartha’ is a good film. Guru Hegde and Vinay Preetham have directed a good family-oriented film that can be watched with the entire family. Those who watch this film will be reminded of their SSLC days. This is the third film in which Meghana Raj and I have acted together. More than 28 artistes have acted in this film. Our film is releasing on September 18. Before that, we will visit places such as Shivamogga, Mangaluru and Chikkamagaluru and hold press conferences,” said Srinagar Kitty.
“I am the first artiste to be selected for the film ‘Amartha’. Guru Hegde is the main reason for the film reaching this level. As Srinagar Kitty said, this is the third film I have acted in with him after ‘Bahuparak’ and ‘Buddhivant 2’. Many people with a theatre background have acted in this film. I am very happy to have acted alongside them,” said actress Meghana Raj.
The other director, Vinay Preetham, thanked everyone who contributed towards making the film come out well.
