“What is wrong with keeping the title as ‘Kedarnath Kuri Farm’? I am a Hindu and strictly follow the Dharma,” says director Srinivas, also known as Sheenu Sagar, addressing objections raised by the media regarding the title. “When names of Gods are used for wine stores and non-vegetarian hotels, I don’t see anything wrong with this title,” he adds. “Kedarnath holds a special significance for me in the film; it is the key point of the story,” he further explains.

Sheenu Sagar has completed the film, which stars Madenoor Manu, Shivani, and others, and is set for release on August 30. The regional censor board has given the film a U/A certificate. Set against a rural backdrop, the movie is a full-fledged entertainer. Sagar, who previously worked with Suri Gang, describes the film as a complete package of entertainment.

This marks the debut film of Madenoor Manu, known from ‘Comedy Kiladis’ fame. “In our village, it’s customary to name things after our deity. I also have a sheep farm named Manjunatha Kuri Farm. The film is well made and offers a feast for moviegoers. Nowadays, audiences are reluctant to go to the cinema, but we have made an earnest effort to bring them back with this film,” says Manu.

The film is produced by Natraj, who has previously appeared in various supporting roles but plays a significant part in this project. Alongside Manu and Shivani, the film features performances by Kannur Jagadish, Shilpa, Pachchi, Karisubbu, Tennis Krishna, Sunanda, Muthuraj, and others. The music is composed by Sunny Don Abraham, with cinematography by Rakesh Tilak, and choreography by Nagabhushan. Hanumanthu is distributing the film and hopes to release it in over 100 theaters.

At the media meet, the teaser and the song “Manasagide Ninna Mele” were showcased.
