The post-production work of the much-awaited film ‘Daiji’, starring Ramesh Aravind, has reached its final stage. The final stages of sound mixing and VFX work are currently underway, and the film team is preparing to announce the release date soon. One of the special features of ‘Daiji’ is that it marks the 106th film in Ramesh Aravind’s career.
Ravi Kashyap and Sudha Kashyap are producing the film. Based on real-life incidents narrated by producer Ravi Kashyap, the story and screenplay have been written by Abhijith Y.R. and Akash Srivatsa. With a storyline rooted in real-life incidents, ‘Daiji’ is preparing to reach audiences with a distinctive style of narration.
Along with Ramesh Aravind, the film features Radhika Narayan, Avinash, Diganth, B.M. Giriraj and several other artistes. International artistes, including Alexander Taylor and Sandy Higgins, are also part of the film.

Music is one of the major attractions of ‘Daiji’. Judah Sandhy, Nakul Abhyankar and Sachin Basrur have worked as the music directors for the film. The work on both the songs and the background score has been completed. Judah Sandhy has made an effort to introduce Kannada audiences to the Hollywood-style sound treatment used in horror films. The film team aims to provide audiences with a unique sound experience in theatres.
A special English song has been created with music composed by Judah Sandhy. Vibha Kashyap, daughter of producer Ravi Kashyap, is making her debut as a singer with this song. The song has been specially designed to suit Vibha’s distinctive voice, considering her training in Western classical music in the United States.
Abhi V., known for ‘Kantara’, has lent his voice to a song that captures the divine essence of the film. Harsha Dhwani, who has gained attention in Bengaluru through devotional songs and devotional rap, has also sung a special song for the film.
Another highlight is that Shivashree Skanda, wife of Member of Parliament Tejasvi Surya, has sung a classical-style song for ‘Daiji’. Composed by Judah Sandhy, this song will add a special touch to the film. Notably, Shivashree Skanda agreed to sing the song because she liked the film’s storyline.
Another major attraction of ‘Daiji’ is the lyrics written by actor Daali Dhananjaya. Dhananjaya has penned the lyrics for two songs composed by Nakul Abhyankar. Both songs will add to the musical appeal of the film.
One of these songs has been sung by renowned singer Sonu Nigam. The Sonu Nigam–Ramesh Aravind combination, which drew attention with the popular song ‘Baa Maleye Baa’ from Ramesh Aravind’s film ‘Accident’, is coming together once again through ‘Daiji’. The film team is delighted that the musical magic of this previously popular combination is set to return.
In addition to composing the music, Sachin Basrur has written the lyrics and sung another song in his own voice.
The cinematography for the film has been handled by Shreesha Kuduvalli. Director Akash Srivatsa has also taken responsibility for editing the film. Sunayana has worked as the casting director, while Lakshmi Krishna has served as the costume designer.
