Speaking at the event, R. Chandru said, “Rajamohan is the director of our film ‘Father’. He has made a heart-touching story. Recently, music director Nakul Abhyankar showed me the film at A. R. Rahman’s studio. After watching it, tears welled up in my eyes. I immediately called my father.
“The director has narrated the story very well and has made the film even better. The performances of Prakash Raj and Darling Krishna in the roles of a father and son are superb. The song released today will also touch everyone’s hearts. I am confident that the film will receive appreciation from everyone.
“Through this film, my wife, Yamuna Chandru, has become a full-fledged producer. With the cooperation of the entire team, the film has turned out well. It will be released on a grand scale on December 4. KRG Studios is distributing our film. I thank all the guests who attended the event,” said R. Chandru.
Lead actor Darling Krishna said, “I really liked the story when Rajamohan narrated it to me. Milana and I listened to the story together. The director narrated it in Tamil. I do not know Tamil, but Milana does, so she explained the story to me. Director Rajamohan presents stories that happen around us in a beautiful manner. When he was describing certain characters, Amrutha Iyengar and Nagabhushana immediately came to my mind. I told Chandru about my choices, and he said my selections were right.
This film about the bond between a father and son will not disappoint audiences who spend their money on it. When you walk out after watching the two-and-a-half-hour film, you will feel that you have watched a good movie,” he said.
Lyricist Manjunath Magodi said, “In the race of life, we encounter hundreds of challenges and emotional upheavals. There is only one answer to all of them—father. A father represents hope, a father represents courage, and a father represents the earth itself. I thank Chandru for giving me the opportunity to write a song describing the qualities of such a father.”
Lead actress Amrutha Iyengar said that she really liked the song and that she has played a role in ‘Father’ unlike any she has portrayed before. Actor Nagabhushana said, “This is my third film with Darling Krishna. My role in this film is also good.”
Music director Nakul Abhyankar shared details about the song. Cinematographer Sujnan and editor Raghunath also spoke about the film ‘Father’.
