Some films grab attention through their content, songs and making. ‘Partner’ is one such film that has been creating buzz with its melody and presentation. Directed by Shivatejas, known for ‘Male, Dhairyam and Dil Pasand’, the film is a love and family entertainer. After the Amora song went viral, the second song, ‘Lavalavike’, has now been released and is attracting audiences.
Starring Ajay Rao and Brinda Acharya in the lead, the film revolves around the lifestyle, love, break-ups and live-in relationships of today’s generation, while conveying a meaningful message.
Written by Kaviraj, ‘Lavalavike’ has been choreographed by Murali Master, with vocals by Karthik and Ramya Abhyankar. Music is composed by Nakul Abhyankar, while Sujnan has handled the cinematography. The song was released by the producer’s spiritual gurus, Ranganath and Manjunath, who wished the team success.
Director Shivatejas said the film has turned out better than expected. He described ‘Lavalavike’ as the second song, highlighting its colorful presentation and different color patterns for each song. Lakshmi Krishna has designed the costumes. The film was shot in Pondicherry and Bengaluru and also features Rangayana Raghu and Chitkala. He expressed confidence that, like Premada Ooralli, the family-oriented film would bring a fresh energy to the industry and become a hit.
Producer Harish Devitandre said he had earlier worked in film distribution and television. He described Partner as a film that can be watched comfortably by the entire family and said the project was made with a business perspective, with plans already underway to take it effectively to audiences.
Actor Ajay Rao said he liked the content narrated by the director and that the film was very close to his heart. He added that the scenes are as colorful as the songs and that the film handles human values and emotions well. Mentioning his 25-year friendship with Shivatejas, Ajay said he was happy to have found a good “partner” in the producer and expressed complete confidence in the film.
Brinda Acharya said the strong bonding among the team was important during the making of the film. She jokingly recalled that Ajay Rao was initially quiet and “short-tempered Siddappa,” but gradually became “sweet Siddappa.” She also praised him for guiding her during the song sequences.
