The music and promotional event of ‘Brindavihari’, starring Golden Star Ganesh, was held with the film’s team unveiling its musical highlights and sharing their experiences of the project.
The event featured the screening of the popular song “Hey Rama Rama Punya Dhama Deva…”, and two others Jeeva Jeeva…..and Radha Radha….
Music director Hesham Abdul Wahab, making his Kannada debut, expressed his excitement about being part of the film and thanked director Srinivasa Raju and producer Manjunath.
The film, which has been in the making for nearly two years, is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 16, with the team hoping to make it a special Dasara release.
Ganesh: ‘This is a film for the entire family’ – Golden Star Ganesh said Brindavihari is a film built around emotions, fun and family values. He plays Madhava, a character whose innocence and emotional journey form an important part of the story.
“Behind this film, there is a lot of contribution from technicians. I am not alone a hero; the entire team has made this film,” Ganesh said. He particularly praised the music of Hesham Abdul Wahab and the lyrics of Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad.
Ganesh also expressed his happiness at sharing screen space with veteran actress Lakshmi, revealing that working with her had been a long-standing dream. He said the pre-climax and climax portions, along with the comedy featuring Kuri Prathap, Jaggappa and Manju Pavagada, would be major attractions.
Calling the film a “big flower garden” of emotions and entertainment, Ganesh urged audiences to watch it with their families.
Seven songs, seven colours – Lyricist Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad described the album as a celebration of seven songs in seven different colours. He said the film features pure Kannada lyrics and praised Ganesh, stating that he could not imagine anyone else in the role.
Director Srinivasa Raju revealed that considerable effort had gone into creating and promoting the film. He described the project as tailor-made for Ganesh and said the actor’s potential had been explored effectively this time.
The director also praised the film’s technicians, including cinematographer Venkat Prasad, and said the story combines emotion, relationships and contemporary relevance.
A strong ensemble cast – The film features Malavika Sharma as Meera. Making her Kannada debut after working in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films, she said she had always wanted to work across all South Indian languages. She described the experience of playing a Krishna devotee as beautiful and thanked Ganesh for his support on the sets.
Devika Bhat, who plays Radha, called it an amazing role and praised the production team for taking care of every detail. She also expressed admiration for Ganesh and cinematographer Venkat Prasad.
Veteran actor Rangayana Raghu added his trademark humour while praising the film’s Kannada flavour, music and emotional content. He said the movie beautifully explores relationships, affection and human emotions.
The cast and crew also include Kuri Prathap, Jaggappa, Girish Shivanna, Ninasam Ashwath and Manju Pavagada, among others.
With its strong cast, seven-song musical album, family-oriented emotions and Ganesh’s much-anticipated performance, ‘Brindavihari’ is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on October 16, with the team confident of winning audiences during the Dasara season.
