Based on the premise of what it would be like if an ordinary person became the Chief Minister of a state, ‘Common Man’, produced by N. Narasimhamurthy under the Surabhi Films banner, is all set for a grand theatrical release on September 25.
Veteran director Om Sai Prakash has written the screenplay and directed the film, which features Gaurishankar as the protagonist.
The promotion of the film was launched at the Sri Bande Mankalamma Temple in the city. The promotional tableau vehicle was inaugurated by performing a puja in front of the temple.
Speaking on the occasion, producer Narasimhamurthy said, “Our film Common Man is releasing on September 25. From today, two promotional vehicles will be travelling across the state. One will travel throughout North Karnataka, while the other will cover the Mysuru and Chamarajanagar regions. Promotion is very important for a film. The film has good content. We have shown in this film how an ordinary young man puts pressure on the government and becomes the Chief Minister, and how he accomplishes things that even politicians are unable to do. The film has truly shaped up very well. I request everyone to come and watch it.”
Director Saiprakash, heroine Sona Ladwa and music director Vinay Chandra spoke about the film.
J.G. Krishna and Deepak Kumar have handled the cinematography for the film.
