The official music video of ‘Tabaahi’, the first song from Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, has been released. The song, which was previously available in audio format, is now accompanied by its official visuals. The music video has been released by Monster Mind Creations, KVN Productions and Zee Music Company, offering the first official visual glimpse of the film.

The song marks the first on-screen pairing of Yash and Kiara Advani. The music video features the two actors together and presents a romantic narrative. According to the makers, the song explores the theme of an intense and unconventional love story.

The visuals feature large-scale production design, orchestral background music and guitar arrangements. The music video also provides a look at the film’s visual style and setting.

Ahead of the release, the makers promoted the song through a social media campaign. On July 7, the film’s official social media handle posted the question, “What do you call a forbidden love that exists only in stolen moments?” while tagging Kiara Advani. She replied with a single word, “Tabaahi.” Zee Music Company later shared a “Stay Tuned…” post before the song’s release.

The song has been composed and sung by Vishal Mishra. The Hindi lyrics are written by Raj Shekhar, while the Kannada version has lyrics by Yogaraj Bhat. The Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam versions are written by Ramajogayya Sastry, Vignesh Shivan and Rafeeq Ahamed, respectively. The song has been released in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

The film stars Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi.

Speaking about the song, composer and singer Vishal Mishra said Tabahi is not a conventional love song but represents love and emotional surrender. He added that he aimed to create music that matched the intensity of Toxic and reflected Yash’s on-screen presence through the composition.

Toxic is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, with Geetu Mohandas also directing the film. It has been shot in Kannada and English and will be dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam for release in multiple markets. Produced by Monster Mind Creations and KVN Productions, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026.
