Boys Never Compromise, directed by Harish Jalagere, is scheduled for a statewide theatrical release on July 10. Harish Jalagere, who earlier produced Just Madveli and Rajannan Maga, makes his directorial debut with the film. It is presented by Kiccha Sudeep and produced by Dr. Ujwala N. Jagadale under the banners Marigold Studios and Universal Hattrick Combines. The film is listed for release in India on July 10, 2026.
Kolar Seenu, who directed Harish Jalagere’s previous two productions, has worked as the co-director. The film belongs to the horror-comedy genre. According to the makers, its teaser and trailer have been released ahead of the theatrical launch.
The story follows ten boys who set out on a leisure trip. During their outing, they indulge in mischief and eventually become connected with a ghost. Alongside comedy, the film also conveys a message. It explores the idea that boys, too, have certain expectations and requirements. While some choose to compromise on them, others do not, and the narrative examines the consequences of those choices.
The cast includes Samrat, Suprith Kaati, Seetharam, Mandya Siddu, Rajeev Reddy, Umesh Kinnal, Gajendra, Hemanth Gowda and Rajaraja Chola, with several newcomers featuring in the film. Rajeev Reddy plays a police officer, while model and actress Nakshatra appears in a special role.
The technical team includes Loki Tavasya as music composer, M.S. Thyagaraj for the background score, Pramod Bharatiya as cinematographer and Karthik Eshwarachari as editor.
