‘Karavali’ is one of Kannada’s most anticipated films. The film had already created huge hype, and Kannada fans had been eagerly waiting for the ‘Karavali’ trailer. That curiosity has now come to an end. The much-awaited trailer has been released in a grand manner. The ‘Karavali’ trailer was launched in the presence of fans by premiering it before them.
Directed by Gurudath Ganiga, Karavali, starring Prajwal Devaraj and Raj B Shetty, is set to hit the screens on July 24. The recently released trailer has doubled the expectations surrounding the film. Despite the confusion and controversies over whether Prajwal Devaraj had dubbed for the film, the ‘Karavali’ trailer was released successfully.
Director Gurudath Ganiga, actor Raj B Shetty, heroines Sampada and Sushmita, actors Mithra and Sridhar, along with the entire film team, were present at the trailer launch event.
The trailer highlights the culture of the coastal region, with Kambala taking center stage. Director Gurudath Ganiga has beautifully showcased Kambala, the pride of the coastal region, through this film. After watching the trailer, curiosity has increased about the relationship between Prajwal and Raj B Shetty in the film. The film team has deliberately kept this curiosity intact. The roles of Ramesh Indira and Mithra have also drawn attention in the trailer.
Gurudath Ganiga clarified the controversy regarding Prajwal Devaraj’s dubbing. He also gave clarity on the issue of Prajwal’s remuneration. In addition, he shared his experience of shooting the film using around 380 buffaloes.
Raj B Shetty, while speaking, said, “This is a pure Kannada film, not a pan-India film. The film should travel everywhere.”
Actor Mithra, heroines Sampada and Sushmita also expressed their happiness about their roles. Senior actor Sridhar, music director Sachin Basrur, cinematographer Abhimanyu Sadanandan, distributor Supreeth, and the entire film team were present.
Along with directing Karavali, Gurudath Ganiga has also taken responsibility for producing the film under Ganiga Films in association with VK Film Association. It is noteworthy that one of Kannada’s prestigious production houses, KVN Productions, is presenting as well as distributing ‘Karavali’.
