Prajwal Devaraj has entered the film ‘Sreerastu’. The title ‘Sreerastu’ had already created a huge buzz because Pranam Devaraj is the lead hero. Now, it has been officially confirmed that Dynamic Prince Prajwal Devaraj will also be part of the same film in which his younger brother is the hero.
Kannada cinema has seen brothers become successful heroes. However, this is the first time that Pranam and Prajwal will be seen together in the same film. For that very reason, ‘Sreerastu’ has generated tremendous curiosity.
On Friday, on the occasion of Prajwal Devaraj’s birthday, the ‘Sreerastu’ team released a birthday poster and a video wishing him. The special aspect was that the visuals featuring birthday boy Prajwal along with Pranam created a huge sensation among fans.
Initially, Sreerastu was known only as a love story. It was revealed that Sanjana Anand would be paired opposite Pranam. But now, with Prajwal joining the cast, the film has gained a family dimension. Director Shankar Reddy has stated that Sreerastu will be a unique film that showcases family affection along with romance.
However, Prajwal is not appearing as a rival to his younger brother. Instead, director Shankar Reddy assures that he will be seen in a prominent role that will attract attention.
The film will be released not only in Kannada but also in Telugu, making it a large-scale project. The film also features noted actors Suman, Aamani, Chaitra Rai, Ravi Shivateja, Josh Ravi, Ravi Prakash, and several other artistes who have earned recognition in the Telugu film industry, the team has revealed.
Haragowda is producing the film on a grand scale under the Hara Creations banner. Balasaraswathi, who has worked as an assistant cinematographer for several popular films including Pushpa, is the cinematographer for this film. Krishna Maya is the art director, while Sri Varkala is handling the editing. There is no doubt that this will be a film that will make the Kannada film industry turn back and take notice.
So far, the ‘Sreerastu’ team has officially released only a short video glimpse. However, fans who noticed its background score have expressed great curiosity about the songs. They have also come to know that Shekar Chandra is the music director of the film. As a result, expectations are high that the songs will be outstanding.
