The team of the upcoming Kannada film Keerthi I Love You has begun promotions for the film with the release of its first song, “Muddada Mooguti,” through Siri Music.
The film is being produced by Poojitha S Rao and directed by Niranjan Aradhya. Prajyoth S Rao plays the lead role, while Nidhi Gowda stars as the female lead.
Speaking after the song release, director Niranjan Aradhya said that although many films based on love have been made in Kannada cinema, the film presents a different perspective on love. He added that the film also aims to create awareness among youngsters about relationships and dating at a young age.
Niranjan Aradhya, who is also a dancer, said the film marks his directorial debut. He stated that the movie features three songs composed by Abhiram. The first released track, “Muddada Mooguti,” has lyrics written by Arun Kumar and is sung by Arfaz Ullal. He also said that most of the shooting has been completed and the film is scheduled to release on July 31.
Lead actor Prajyoth S Rao said he had trained in acting at Adarsha Film Institute and added that Kichcha Sudeepa was his inspiration to become a hero. He also said that his sister, Poojitha S Rao, had produced the film and that the movie had shaped up well with the support of the team.
Producer Poojitha S Rao said her brother Prajyoth S Rao had always aspired to become a lead actor and that she fulfilled his wish by producing the film. She added that the film is aimed at the current generation of youngsters.
Actress Nidhi Gowda spoke about her role in the film during the event. Others present at the press meet included Suresh Chikkanna, music director Abhiram, cinematographers Abhishek and Rohith Dani, co-producer Yatheesh Kumar, Shamanth Shetty from I to I Infotech, actor Harish Kumar and executive producer Liyan Gowda.
