A new film starring Vinay Rajkumar has been officially announced on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. Titled “Maachis,” the project marks a collaboration between RRG Productions and director B. S. P. Varma, who earlier directed “Murphy.”
Along with the title announcement, the makers also unveiled the tagline “Power, Fury, Fate” and a thematic note describing the film as the story of “a man with nothing left to lose.” The announcement further hints at themes of power, rage and destiny.
The film is being produced by Suresh Gowda Hennur under the RRG Productions banner, while Shivugowda has joined the project as creative producer.
The technical team includes Adarsh R as cinematographer and Kiran as editor. The film’s art direction will be handled by Guna. Mohan N Muninarayanappa has been appointed as executive producer, while action choreography will be handled by Dr K. Ravi Varma.
The team also includes Naveen Shekar, Manohara, Sanju Jayaprakash, Punith PT, Gagana Chandrashekar, Harsha Ramesh, Arush, Shashwati Chandrashekar and Sumantha Pro in various departments associated with the production.
The shooting for “Maachis” is scheduled to commence in July.
