The muhurta ceremony of the film “Rudra Kaala”, starring popular actor Diganth, was held on Wednesday morning at an auspicious time at Bande Mahakali Temple. Renowned director Yogaraj Bhat gave the clap for the first shot of the film, while director Raj Guru switched on the camera. The duo of directors wished success for “Rudra Kaala.”
Director Gopi said that this is his fourth directorial venture. He has directed two films in Telugu and one in Kannada so far, making “Rudra Kaala” his fourth film. The movie is being made in both Kannada and Telugu languages. It is a crime thriller with a family emotional backdrop. Recently, popular actress Samantha unveiled the title of the film.
The story is written by his brother Ramesh. Diganth will be seen in a role he has never played before. “Adhyaksha” fame Hebah Patel is acting in this film after many years. Actress Vamshi, actor Govinde Gowda and others are part of the cast.
The film has cinematography by Christopher Joseph, choreography by Rudra Master, and action direction by Channayya. The film is being produced by Ramesh Nayak, with Ranjitha Naveen as co-producer. Shooting will begin in Bengaluru in May. Director Gopi thanked Yogaraj Bhat and Raj Guru for launching the film.
Actor Diganth said that he had signed two new films last year, but they have not yet started due to the current situation in the film industry. However, producer Ramesh Nayak has initiated “Rudra Kaala.” It is a crime thriller with a family storyline. Ramesh has written a good story, and he liked it immediately when director Gopi narrated it. I will be seen in a completely new role. He also expressed happiness that Yogaraj Bhat came to launch the film.
Actress Hebah Patel (of the song Open Hairu Bitkondu….) said that she is acting in a Kannada film after ten years since “Adhyaksha” and hopes the audience will extend the same support to this film as well.
Producer Ramesh Nayak said he liked the story narrated by director Gopi and felt that Diganth was the right choice for the lead role. He thanked the dignitaries and the team for attending the muhurta ceremony. Co-producer Ranjitha Naveen requested everyone’s support for their new film.
Ramesh also shared details about the story. Executive producer Shivaraj, actress Vamshi, actor Govinde Gowda, cinematographer Christopher Joseph, action director Channayya and others were present at the media meet.
