The film “Sher,” directed by Prasiddh and starring Kiran Raj in the lead, is scheduled for release on May 15. The trailer of the film was recently released, generating attention for the project.
The film is produced by Dr. Sudarshan Sundararaj under the Grace Raj Production banner, with H. Kumar (Ratte) serving as executive producer. The cast includes Kiran Raj, Surekha, Krish, and Tanisha Kuppanda in key roles.
Speaking at the trailer launch event, director Prasiddh said that “Sher” is his third directorial venture. He stated that Kiran Raj appears in a role different from his previous performances. He described the film as a crime action thriller that explores aspects of the lives of orphaned children. He also noted that Krish Rodrig, the producer’s son, plays the antagonist and has shown strong commitment to the role. Tanisha Kuppanda portrays a police officer in the film. The film has received an ‘A’ certificate from the regional censor board.
Actor Krish said he plays a villain role and described it as a character similar in nature to roles seen in earlier action films, adding that he prepared extensively for it.
Actor Kiran Raj stated that he plays an orphan in the film and described it as a crime action thriller. He added that he was earlier introduced as an action hero by director Prasiddh.
Producer Dr. Sudarshan Sundararaj said he is a lawyer by profession and that he, along with his brothers, produced the film for his son, leading to the establishment of their production house. He also confirmed that KRG Films will distribute the film.
Actor Surekha said this is her second film after Bharjari Gandu and mentioned that she plays a dual-shaded role. Actor Tanisha Kuppanda stated that this is her first film portraying a police officer.
Executive producer Ratte Kumar, cinematographer Kitty Kaushik, and actor Shobhan also spoke about the film. The music is composed by Vijay Gummineeni.
Dog Satish, Kiran Kumar (Congress leader), and Rajesh attended the event as guests.
