The trailer of the suspense thriller “Bengaluru Inn”, starring Dharma Keerthiraj, has been released. The film, set against the backdrop of Bengaluru and revolving around a gripping murder mystery, is all set to release across the state on April 17.

The trailer was unveiled at a grand event held at Utsav Legacy on Magadi Road in Bengaluru by “Myna” fame Chetan Ahimsa. The story revolves around a food delivery agent and attempts to expose the darker side of a modern city.

This marks the directorial debut of Karthik K. Murthy, who had earlier worked as an assistant director for ‘Present Prapancha 0% Love’ Kannada film. Along with Dharma Keerthiraj in the lead, Risha Gowda and Anusha Rai play the female leads. Senior actor Shashikumar appears as an Assistant Commissioner of Police, while Anusha Rai plays a journalist.

Producer Venkatesh Murthy said, “I have made this film with great effort and passion. Now it is ready for release, and we need your support and encouragement.”

Director Karthik shared that a real-life incident inspired him to write the script. “When I narrated the story to Dharma Keerthiraj, he gave the green signal. The film carries a message for parents and also includes commercial and entertaining elements. We seek support from media and audiences alike,” he said.

Dharma Keerthiraj said, “Venkatesh Murthy and Karthik have made this film very well. Earlier, the producer and I worked on Chanaksha, but this story is entirely different. Karthik left his corporate career to become a director. Everyone in the team has worked with dedication, which reflects in the film. I play a pizza delivery boy who aspires to achieve something in life, and the story unfolds from there. It also has a love story and all elements that audiences expect. We need your support.”

Reflecting on his journey, Dharma added, “I have never felt discouraged. My father has always been like a guru to me. I don’t regret not achieving success. I have no complaints about any of the directors I worked with across 25 films. After a few failures, I stayed in Chennai, but Venkatesh Murthy gave me an opportunity in Chanaksha, and since then I’ve been part of many films.”

Risha Gowda said, “This is the film that brought me to Bengaluru. It is my second movie. My first film Crazy Keerthi was shot in Mysuru. I sometimes wonder if I would have stayed in the industry without Bengaluru Inn. This film changed my luck. I always prioritize story, and I loved this one. I didn’t expect to get an opportunity to act alongside Dharma in my second film. I am grateful to work with seniors like Anusha Rai, Balrajwadi, and Shashikumar.”

Anusha Rai said, “This is a suspense thriller with a beautiful love story. Though titled Bengaluru Inn, the story is relevant everywhere. It carries an awareness message for youth. The director has done a commendable job in his debut, and the producer has not only made a good film but also acted in it. Overall, it’s a well-made film, and we seek your support.”

Lahari Velu of MRT Audio said, “The trailer has come out very well. I wish the team success and hope the producer benefits from all the hard work.” Speaking about the recent piracy issue of the Tamil film Jananayagan, Lahari Velu said, “If a film leaks in HD quality even before its release, those responsible should not be forgiven. Such acts hurt producers deeply. Strict action must be taken against piracy.”

Bengaluru Inn is produced by Venkatesh Murthy, with Rajesh as executive producer. Cinematography is by Naveen Panchakshari, music by Asif A. Kader and Aravind Murali, and editing by Kumar C.K. The film is produced under the Sri Sai Baba Cine Enterprises banner.

The audio and trailer are available on the MRT Music YouTube channel. The film releases this Friday (April 17).
