“ELRA KAALEYLIYATTE KAALA” TRAILER DRAWS ATTENTION

The trailer of Elra Kaaleyliyatte Kaala, starring Chandan Shetty and directed by Sujay Shastry, has been released through Anand Audio. The film is produced by Govindaraju under the Gokul Entertainers banner and is scheduled to release on April 17.

The trailer presents a retro-style story set in the 1990s. Following the trailer release, members of the film team spoke about the project.

Director Sujay Shastry said that he identified Chandan Shetty as a suitable lead after watching him in a reality show. He said that the story, written by his friend Rajaguru Hosakote, was later narrated to Chandan Shetty, who agreed to act in the film. He added that pre-production training was provided before the shoot and that the actor put in effort for the role. He also said that Archana Kottige has performed in the film. He stated that the story is written in a way that connects with audiences and mentioned that Praveen–Pradeep have composed the music. He also referred to the work of technicians and supporting actors and confirmed that the film will release on April 17.

Actor Chandan Shetty said that the story was the main reason for him to take up the project. He said this is his first film as a lead actor. He mentioned that director Sujay Shastry and writer Rajaguru Hosakote come from a theatre background and that he learned from them. He also said that the trailer has received a strong response and that the film is intended to be watched by families in theatres.

Producer Govindaraju said that he decided to produce a film with Sujay Shastry after watching his earlier film Gubbi Mele Brahmastra. He added that he liked the story narrated by Rajaguru Hosakote, which led to the production of this film. He also said that the film will be distributed by KVN Productions and is scheduled for release on April 17.

Writer Rajaguru Hosakote said that the story highlights the importance of time. Actress Archana Kottige said that she has a good role in the film. Actors Manju Pavagada, Mahanthesh, Ananth Padmanabha, and music director Pradeep also spoke about the film.
