‘ZERO TO ONE’ GOES ON FLOORS WITH MUHURTHA CEREMONY

The muhurtha ceremony of the film Zero to One was held today at the Mahavishnu Temple in Ejipura, Bengaluru. The film marks a new initiative by Nagaveni Santosh under the AU Movies banner and has gone on floors following the ceremony.

Zero to One is being made simultaneously in five languages — Kannada, Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu. The film is positioned as a youth-oriented motivational genre project and is planned for release later this year. The makers stated that the film is being developed on a scale inspired by Hollywood-style filmmaking.

Nagaveni Santosh, who is originally from Karnataka, is making his directorial debut with this project. He is also producing the film, writing the story, screenplay, and dialogues, and will be seen as the lead actor. Speaking at the event, Nagaveni Santosh said the project has been a long-standing ambition of 13 years. He stated that the film will be made first in Kannada and English, along with other Indian languages, and added that the shoot and post-production work are being planned in Mumbai. He also mentioned that the film is expected to release around August or September and requested support for the project, stating that it is a film driven by newcomers.

Spiritual leader Avadhuta Arjun Guruji attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he spoke about the importance of regional identity and the growth of Kannada cinema. He referred to the struggles faced by several artists in the film industry and expressed hope that good films by new teams continue to emerge.

Actor Manisha Bhatt, one of the lead actresses, said that working on the film required balancing education, work, and acting, and added that the team put in significant effort during the process. She requested audience support for the film.

Another lead actress, Rakshita Gowda, said this is her first film and that she is pleased to be part of the project. She stated that the film addresses life’s ups and downs and is aimed at today’s youth, highlighting how both success and failure should be accepted with balance. She added that the film is dedicated to young audiences and focuses on handling challenges positively.

The film also features Suma, Nakshatra, and Ritvika in key roles. Cinematography for Zero to One is handled by Venkatesh Naaki. The makers confirmed that the film’s production will continue over the coming months, with preparations underway for a theatrical release later this year.
