Rudrakshi Productions, led by Dr. Sukanya Hiremath and Pavithra Hiremath, has received a U/A certification from regional censorship for their debut project, ‘Yuvaka’. The film is currently gearing up for its promotional activities and impending release.
Based on a true story narrated by Dr. BR Hiremath, the Commissioner of the Excise Department, the screenplay, dialogue, and lyrics for ‘Yuvaka’ are crafted by Dr. Gunavantha Manjur, who also directs the film.
The film, featuring six songs, was shot in various locations including Bengaluru, Devanahalli, Talakad, and their surroundings. Sri Chetan and Pavitra take on the lead roles in this impactful narrative.
Addressing the prevalent issue of drug abuse among today’s youth, ‘Yuvaka’ highlights the profound consequences not only on a personal level but also as a significant national concern when young individuals succumb to drug addiction.
Boasting a cast of nearly 50 first-time actors, the film has B Balaram handling the music, Basayya Hiremath serving as the cinematographer, and HC Kumar taking on the role of the editor for ‘Yuvaka’.
In addition to Sri Chetan and Pavithra, the supporting cast features Rohini, C Somashekhar, Gunavantha Manju, Chennakeshava, Samartha, Shivakumar, Pradeep Putta, Pushpalatha, Mahesh Sagara, Rudramuni, and others. Stay tuned for release of ‘Yuvaka’.
