One of the pinch hitters in Kannada cinema is undoubtedly Santosh Anand Ram (His name itself has the Santosha and Ananda) ever since his ‘Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari’. He has traveled ten long years in Kannada cinema. In his 10th year as a director, incomes ‘Yuva’ that introduces Yuva Rajakumar grandson of Dr. Rajakumar and son of Raghavendra Rajakumar.

A carefully designed and wonderfully crafted film ‘Yuva’ has a bundle of entertainment, emotion, and action and touches upon an interesting element in the climax. This is a must-watch film for the entire family from the prestigious banner ‘Hombale Films’ that has given super hit films like KGF and KGF Chapter 2.

For Hombale Films, the eminent director Santosh Anand Ram directed ‘Rajakumara’ an all-time hit film that is the talk of the town even today. Of course, the film starred Karnataka Rathna Power star Puneeth Rajakumar.

In a pre-release chat with the media on Wednesday morning, Santosh Anand Ram made some observations about his ‘Yuva’ that is all set to capture the audiences in 350 theaters.

Take a look at his observations and his responses to the queries from the media.

This is a story of father-son conflict. In every household, there is a conflict between father and son for one reason or another. It can be about studies, marriage, career, etc. A son who does not understand the father and a father who does not understand the son follow in the screenplay. Both of them will have enlightenment at some point. That is one portion of the story of this film, Santosh.

This is a story of struggle. Yuva Rajakumar is seen as a delivery boy in this film. The story of the film is about how a young man who initially struggles with his studies in college accepts life and runs his home after passing out of college.

While the first half of the film is about college, the second half is a conflict between father and son. How it ends is the story of the film. To be fair, this is the story of students on the brink of discovering a new life.

There were some story ideas in my head. I gave one of the knots a story form and developed it in eight months.

The biggest challenge here was to present the story neatly. My movies never skip a frame.

I have made the story keeping in mind that framework and Yuva’s family legacy. Commercial aspects are also under control. People from all walks of life can sit comfortably and watch this film without any embarrassment.

Santosh says that Yuva looks very mature in this film, ‘Usually, there is maturity in a screenplay, but it is difficult if the actor doesn’t have it. But, along with the screenplay, the hero has the same maturity. Apart from that, Yuva Rajakumar scores well in fights and songs.

He has his identity very clear. In his dialogue delivery at places especially with some words, he resembles Puneeth Rajakumar, he has special eyes and in walking he reminds me of Dr. Shivarajakumar.

Yuva has not deliberately imitated anyone. He has never given up his originality. The film is 149 minutes duration hitting the silver screens in Karnataka on March 29 in 350 plus theaters.

There is a mood for this film and it gives a feeling. In the climax, we have not concluded. There is scope for continuation.

Coming to action portions – there are four action portions, the middle-class youth gets elevation in songs. He represents the Hostel and at the final year of engineering. We have not done anything for the sake of action, dance, or fights.

The theatrical experience of this movie will be excellent and as far as possible top-notch excellence is provided to the film ‘Yuva’.

Yuva is the 4th generation of actors from Dr. Rajakumar’s family. Certainly, there is responsibility and commitment from everyone to this film. Yuva crossed the screen age and he is matured in his first film.
