Produced under the banner of Sri Krishna Arts & Creations, “Yuddha Kaanda,” in which Ajay Rao plays the lead role, is set to release across the state on April 18. Members of the film team spoke during a press meet organized to share details about the movie.
“Yuddha Kaanda” is a must-watch film for every woman. It depicts the various forms of atrocities faced by women. Archana Jois has brilliantly portrayed the role representing the pain of women. Written and directed by Pavan Bhat, the film also features veteran actors like T.S. Nagabharana and Prakash Belawadi. Baby Radnya is also part of the cast. This is a film with a strong social concern. “Yuddha Kaanda” is neither a very low-budget nor a very high-budget film. It is made without any compromises. Films like this must reach more people. There’s also a thought to screen this film before the President of India, given the strong message it carries. The film releases on April 18. “Yuddha Kaanda” was written back in 2022. All characters in this story are significant. There was hesitation in sharing the story initially, fearing whether producers would agree to back it. Later, upon hearing the story, Ajay Rao came forward to produce it. The screenplay too is by Ajay Rao. This is a courtroom drama. Seasoned actors like Nagabharana and Prakash Belawadi have acted in it. With cinematography by Karthik Sharma, music by Hemanth Jois and K.B. Praveen, and editing by Sri Crazy Minds, “Yuddha Kaanda” is shaping up well, said director Pavan Bhat.
I play the role of a woman who suffers injustice in “Yuddha Kaanda.” Pavan Bhat’s story is powerful, said actress Archana Jois. Speaking about his role, T.S. Nagabharana revealed that he plays the role of a judge in the film and expressed hope that “Yuddha Kaanda” would be loved by everyone. I haven’t been acting much in recent times. But when Ajay Rao told me about the story of this film, I agreed to act. I play a lawyer in the film, said Prakash Belawadi.
