Inspired by the superhit film ‘Vajrakaya,’ featuring Dr. Shivarajakumar and his co-stars, the ‘Raja Rani’ team has meticulously crafted a set with Lord Anjaneya as the backdrop.
The multi-talented Ranadheer, shouldering various responsibilities for the movie, extended an invitation to the popular hero Yogi for a song. A grand set, complete with a 10-foot Lord Anjaneya statue, was erected in Rajanakunte.
When the media visited the location, they captured the song “Tala Tala Ella Kade Nenna Hade…Tumbogiro Nadu Naade, Enittare Ninna Kade…Nithya Jana Ninna Ede…” through their cameras. Ravi Tapasvi penned this song for Prabhu’s choreography.
In essence, photographer Ranadheer transitioned into the world of acting on the small screen and later appeared in the Tamil film ‘Pudhiyavarugal.’ For this film, Ranadheer not only acted but also wrote the story, directed the film, and played the lead role. Two more prominent personalities joined in for this particular song, marking the completion of the shoot.
This film is based on a real-life incident that occurred in Mysuru 15 years ago. Amidst two heroes, the female lead mysteriously disappears, infusing the film with suspense and romance. Will the missing female protagonist return? You’ll have to watch it on the silver screen to find out.
The shooting took place in Bengaluru, Maluru, Kolara, Chickmagalur, and Doddaballapura over 56 days. Ritanya Shetty from Mandya plays the female lead, while Jeevan takes on another pivotal role. The cast includes Girija Lokesh, Shobaraj, Biradar, Killer Venkatesh, Girish Jatthi, Manjula Naidu, Chandraprabha, and others.
Yogi, who has acted in over 25 films, mentioned that he is appearing exclusively in this particular song. He emphasizes the importance of supporting colleagues when the need arises, contributing to the growth of the cinema industry. Meanwhile, Yogi is gearing up for the sequel to ‘Sidlingu,’ one of his popular films with Ramya.
Punga portrays the antagonist in this film, and Ranadheer, a friend of 15 years, agreed to act in it out of friendship. Producer Nethravathi Mallesh is investing in this film solely due to their friendship.
Of the four songs, Sudhan Prakash composed two, Madhu-Sharat handled the cinematography, Thriller Manju choreographed the stunts, and Nithish Poojari edited the film.
The film ‘Raja Rani,’ produced by Sri Chamundeswari Movie Makers, receives financial support from Vijay Ballari, Madhusudhan, and Leela.
