YASH’S ‘TICKET’ LOOK FROM ‘TOXIC’ HINT AT DUAL ROLE

The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have released a new poster introducing actor Yash in a clean-shaven look, marking his second appearance from the film. The poster presents his character named “Ticket,” suggesting that the actor may be portraying a dual role in the project.

Earlier, Yash’s bearded look as Raya was unveiled and generated significant online engagement, including fan art and discussion threads. The newly released clean-shaven look presents a contrasting appearance, adding to speculation about the narrative structure and the relationship between the two characters.

The film’s teaser, which runs for 1 minute and 56 seconds, has drawn widespread attention. According to the makers, the teaser trended on YouTube in nine countries along with India and recorded 197 million views within 24 hours of release. Online discussions have included detailed frame-by-frame analyses, with viewers debating timelines, possible multiple eras, and how the two characters portrayed by Yash may intersect. Particular attention has been given to the final 20 seconds of the teaser.

The teaser has also generated traction across international markets. In the Tamil-speaking regions, it gained attention in Sri Lanka, Singapore and Malaysia. In the Hindi-speaking markets, it trended in countries including Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bangladesh and Bahrain. Within India, the teaser has trended across multiple states.

Toxic is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. It is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
