A massive crowd gathered at Lulu Mall last Sunday evening to witness Rocking Star Yash, who has made a mark on both the national and international stage with Toxic, release the trailer of Manada Kadalu. This much-awaited Kannada film, backed by the Mungaru Male duo—producer E. Krishnappa and director Yogaraj Bhat—is set to hit the silver screen on March 28.

Speaking at the event, Yash took a trip down memory lane, recalling his early days when his now-wife, Radhika Pandit, was just a friend and colleague in a TV serial. He reminisced about how E. Krishnappa selected him for Moggina Manasu, a film that played a crucial role in shaping his career. Expressing gratitude, Yash acknowledged the people who have been pillars of support in his journey.

Yash said, “If Krishnappa had not given me the opportunity to act in Moggina Manasu, I wouldn’t be where I am today. He was the producer of my first film. Director Yogaraj Bhat, music director V. Harikrishna, co-producer Gangadhar, and many others here have contributed immensely to my growth.” Praising the trailer of Manada Kadalu, he urged the audience to watch the film in theaters and encouraged the emergence of new talent in Kannada cinema. “Kannadigas never give up on good films,” he affirmed. When fans inquired about his upcoming film Toxic, Yash assured them that something big was in the works and updates would be shared soon.

Manada Kadalu marks the second collaboration between E. Krishnappa and Yogaraj Bhat after the blockbuster Mungaru Male. The trailer launch event was particularly special as it marked Yash’s first appearance at a film-related event in four years. Fans, eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite star, began gathering outside Lulu Mall from the afternoon, leading to a sea of people stretching as far as the eye could see. Yash, who graced the vibrant event, not only launched the trailer but also shared words of encouragement for the film’s team.

Expressing his gratitude, producer E. Krishnappa said, “I am extremely happy that Yash, who has not attended any film event in the last four years, came to our event and released the trailer. I sincerely thank him.” He also recalled his interaction with Yash on the sets of Toxic, where he witnessed Yash’s dedication and exemplary qualities.

Director Yogaraj Bhat, who had prepared a special video clip to welcome Yash, greeted him warmly on stage with heartfelt words and thanked him for unveiling the trailer. “On the 28th of this month, Manada Kadalu will release amidst a ‘sea of people.’ Everyone should watch our film and support us,” Yogaraj Bhat urged.

The event saw the presence of the film’s cast and crew, including lead actor Sumukh, heroines Rashika Shetty and Anjali Anish, co-producer G. Gangadhar, executive producer Pratap, music director V. Harikrishna, choreographer Murali Master, and cinematographer Santosh Rai Pataje. They all expressed their gratitude to Yash for his support and enthusiasm toward Manada Kadalu.
