Director D. Satyaprakash, known for films like Rama Rama Re, Ondalla Eradalla, and Man of the Match, is set to release his next film X&Y on June 26 across Karnataka. Along with directing and producing the film, he is also playing the lead role for the first time.
Speaking at the recent audio launch and press meet, Satyaprakash said that X&Y is his fourth directorial venture with a distinct storyline. He mentioned that acting alongside experienced artists in the film helped him learn and perform in his role. Satyaprakash has also written the story, screenplay, and dialogues of the film.
He noted that the songs composed by Kaushik Harsha are melodious, while cinematography by Lovith and editing by B.S. Kemparaj are among the highlights of the film. An “Ambo Auto” equipped with medical facilities also plays a key role in the story.
Satyaprakash expressed confidence that X&Y will attract audiences back to theatres amid discussions that footfalls for Kannada films have reduced.
Actress Brinda Acharya, who plays a character named Kripa, said she liked the story upon hearing it and enjoyed working with the team.
Music director Kaushik Harsha shared details about the songs and the singers. Cast members Dharmanna, Sundar, Atharva Prakash, Harini, and Ayana spoke about their roles and the film. Cinematographer Lovith, editor B.S. Kemparaj, and other technicians were present at the press meet. V. Manohar, who attended the event as a guest, wished the film success. The event was hosted by actress Brinda Acharya.
