Renowned personalities like S. Narayan, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar, and Guru Deshpande wished Shreyas K Manju and celebrated K Manju’s birthday.
K Manju, overcome with emotion, said, “I learned a lot from Vishnu Sir. He often called me rough and reckless. But if I’ve grown this much today, it’s because of him.” This emotional moment took place at the launch event of the trailer for Vishnu Priya.
Produced by K Manju, the film stars his son Shreyas K Manju and the charming actress Priya Varrier. Kichcha Sudeepa launched the trailer on a grand stage filled with industry veterans, making the event even more special as it coincided with K Manju’s birthday. The gathering highlighted K Manju’s deep bond with the Kannada film industry.

Speaking at the event, Kichcha Sudeepa said, “Though many make love stories, success depends on how they present them. Producing 50 films is no small feat—it’s a huge achievement. All the songs I saw were beautiful, and the trailer has been cut excellently. Shreyas’ dedication will surely lead him to success.”
S. Narayan remarked, “The name Vishnu holds love, emotion, and power. This film portrays a 90s love story filled with heartwarming songs. Shreyas is the future. He’s disciplined and dedicated, much like Sudeepa himself.” He further wished K Manju to complete his 50th film soon.
Bharathi Vishnuvardhan expressed her thoughts, “If my husband were here today, he would have been so proud. He often told me to work with someone like your son instead of me. Family-friendly films can still fill theaters. We must wait patiently for good fortune, which will surely come.”
Director V.K. Prakash, known for his successful Malayalam films, has helmed the movie, while renowned Telugu music director Gopi Sundar composed the songs. Vinod Bharathi handled cinematography, and Suresh Aras took charge of editing.
Vishnu Priya, an intense love story set in the 90s, will hit theaters across the state on February 21. Songs like Sumne Sumne have already become crowd favorites. The entire event showcased heartfelt wishes and high hopes for both Shreyas K Manju and the film’s success.
