Director Girish, who earlier directed the film Bhavachitra, is preparing to bring another film to theatres. The film is titled Fan War.

Produced under the Wood Creeper Films banner, Fan War has Girish handling the story, screenplay, dialogues, and direction. This marks the fourth directorial venture of Girish after Avahayami, Bhavachitra, and Gangster Alla Frankster.

Set against a village backdrop, the film revolves around the world of cricket fans and cinema fans. The shooting has already been completed for around 35 days across locations including Koratagere, Madhugiri, Gauribidanur, and nearby areas, covering nearly 90 percent of the film. Only about ten days of shooting remain.

The film features four songs, with music composed by Gautham Srivatsa. Cinematography is handled by Jashwanth, while editing is by Ratheesh.

Director Girish stated that the film is inspired by certain real-life incidents. He is also playing the lead role in the film. Apart from him, several local talents have been cast in the movie.
