The debut movie ‘Kenda Sampige’ witnessed a delightful 100-day run, with Vikky Varun, the assistant director, transitioning into the role of the film’s hero after spending ten years in the esteemed director Duniya Soori’s camp. Fueled by his passion and determination, Vicky Varun subsequently ventured into the Kannada film ‘KaalaPatthar,’ where he served as both the film’s hero and director.
‘Sounds of Kaalapatthar,’ a production by Bhuvan Movies, was officially unveiled to the media at MMB Legacy. Bhuvan Suresh and Nagaraj Billinakote are the film’s producers.
The music in ‘Sounds of Kaalapatthar’ stands out, featuring five exceptionally well-crafted songs. This innovative approach of combining them all into one collection is credited to the renowned music director Anoop Seelin.
“I’m fulfilling my long-held dream of directing a film, and I am deeply grateful to the film’s producers for making it possible,” expressed Vikky Varun. Having spent a decade under the mentorship of Dhuniya Soori, I had not truly experienced the challenges of directing and acting until now. ‘Kaalapatthar’ delves into unconventional and thought-provoking themes. We’ve already released the songs through ‘Sounds of Kaalapatthar,’ and we’ll soon announce the film’s release date,” Vikky Varun added.
The film boasts lyrics penned by Dr. V Nagendra Prasad and Pramod Maravanthe, set to the melodious compositions of Anoop Seelin. The talented vocalists Vijaya Prakash, Sai Vignesh, Abhishekh, Aishwarya Rangarajan, Shivani, and Siddarth Belmannu lent their voices to the film’s soundtrack, as revealed by Anoop Seelin.
Dhanya Ramkumar, the female lead and granddaughter of the legendary Dr. Rajakumar (daughter of Poornima and Ramkumar), shines brightly in her role as Ganga, a village schoolteacher, experiencing profound satisfaction.
