On the occasion of Ugadi, Karunada Chakravarthy Shivarajkumar unveiled the title of the upcoming film Mahan and extended his best wishes to the team.
Directed by P.C. Shekhar, known for his tasteful films in Kannada, Mahan is produced by Prakash under the Aakash Pictures banner in collaboration with the prestigious Alliance University. The film stars Chinnari Mutha Vijay Raghavendra in the lead role.
Speaking at the title launch, Shivarajkumar shared, “I’ve seen a small glimpse of Mahan, and it looks excellent. The title itself is deeply meaningful and will connect with everyone. I wish the film great success.”

Produced by Prakash under the Aakash Pictures banner, Mahan revolves around the story of a farmer, the provider of food for the nation. Hence, the title Mahan, which signifies greatness and prominence. As everyone knows, a farmer is the greatest of all, and that’s the reason behind this title choice. The team expressed their immense happiness that a “Mahan” personality like Shivarajkumar launched the title.
Director P.C. Shekhar mentioned that the shooting will commence soon, and more details about the cast and crew will be shared in the coming days.
