The carefully designed ‘Vidyarthi Vidyarthiniyare’ is screening in over 150 screens in Karnataka after a successful premiere show in Dubai, which gave the team a lot of courage. The latest news for the film team is that director Arun Amuktha is taking up distribution, and new actor Sinchana Koteshwar was introduced. Additionally, OMG distributor Mamata announced the demand for Vidyarthi Vidyarthiniyare from Australia and America, putting the entire team in a happy mood.
Highlighted by the teaser, songs, and two trailers, Arun Amuktha’s film ‘Vidyarthi Vidyarthiniyare’ is releasing across the state this Friday (July 19).
In the final publicity push for the film Vidyarthi Vidyarthiniyare, team members Chandan Shetty, Sunil Puranik, Arvind Rao, Prashant Sambargi, Mamata Sendhil of OMG Movies (who released the film in Dubai), Amar, Manoj, Manasvi, producers Subramanya Kukke, Shivalinge Gowda, and director Arun Amuktha addressed the media at MMB Legacy on Tuesday afternoon.
Chandan Shetty said, “This is my first film to be released. There was fear, but I am relaxed to a certain extent. The response to the film in Dubai has been positive. A lot of Kannadigas watched the film there. The whole theater was full, and after the film finished, everyone gave good comments. I am truly fortunate to be a part of this team. Our producers are very cooperative and supportive. Apart from me being the hero, Amar, Bhavana, Manasvi, Sinchana, and Manoj are the main characters who have contributed significantly to this film. This is a movie that both kids and their parents can sit and watch together.”
Arun Amuktha, who is not only writing and directing the story and screenplay of this film but also releasing it across the state, said, “We don’t have any fans yet. Anyone who comes to see our film should come to see the trailer and songs. Our audience is the youth of today. The film should be delivered to them. I am releasing the film in around 140 centers. After seeing the trailer and song of the film, some theaters have called and given permission to screen the film.”
Arun Amuktha further disclosed that he might not do another film after Vidyarthi Vidyarthiniyare. “I had contacted 280 producers with this subject and traveled a long time with it. According to me, the two heroes of this film are producers Subramanya Kukke and Shivalinge Gowda. I tried to save them from excessive investment. Vidyarthi Vidyarthiniyare is a 155-minute film very apt for both elders and youth. I am very confident of the audience coming to this film,” he said.
Mamata Sendhil, who released the film in Dubai, said, “Before this, we released the film ‘Katera’. This is our second film. Everyone who has seen it has spoken words of appreciation. The Kannadigas there are asking for the film to be released in other countries as well. We are planning to release the film in places like Australia and America in the near future.”
‘Vidyarthi Vidyarthiniyare’ is produced under the Variety Creations banner by Subramanya Kukke and A.C. Shivalinge Gowda. On this occasion, the producers asked for the encouragement and support of Kannadigas for their first attempt.
