Directed by actor and filmmaker Harish Raj, Venkateshaya Namaha is a romantic love story. The filming was recently concluded in Bengaluru with a pumpkin-breaking ceremony to mark the wrap.
The story follows Venkatesha, also called Venki, who considers life a challenge after a girl rejects him. Choosing not to fall in love, he decides to casually interact and enjoy time with girls. The plot explores whether he falls in love again. The narrative blends humor and entertainment, according to the makers. Harish Raj stated that the film seeks the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara and audience support.
Producer P. Janardhan mentioned that the film started when the director shared this comedy-based subject, which he liked. With filming now complete, he requested support from everyone.
Harish Raj plays the role of a software professional. Veteran actress Umashree plays his mother, while Prakruthi Prasad plays the female lead. The film features a large ensemble cast including senior actor Ashok, Umeshanna, Tabla Nani, Chitkala Biradar (as the heroine’s mother), Raghu Raman Kopp, among others.
Venkateshaya Namaha is produced under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Janardhan Movies. The cinematography is by Shivashankar, music by Praveen Srinivas Murthy, editing by Jeevan Prakash. Lyrics are by Pramod Maruvante, Chethan Kumar, and Ghouse Peer. Vinay G. Alur handles DI, with associate directors Mitesh and Santosh C.M. Dance choreography is by Murali Master.
